Traditional Mac and Cheese Traditional Mac and Cheese

    4 Cups Elbow Pasta, cooked.
    4 Tblspn Butter.
    4 Tblspn Cornstarch.
    2.5 Cups 1% Milk.
    3 Cups Sharp/Extra Sharp Cheese, shredded (the stronger the flavor, the less you need).


Preheat oven to 350 f.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Remove from heat and add cornstarch, stirring until smooth.
Add milk, a little at a time, stirring continually to avoid lumps.
Return to heat, stirring continually until thickened.
Add 2.5 cups shredded cheese and stir until melted.
Add cooked elbow pasta.
Transfer to cooking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
Cook in oven for approximately 20 minutes.
