Introduction

This is a recipe I have made up because I love black beans and I love Chili. I saw a recipe a ong time ago with ro-tel in it and it sounded so good, so i stole that idea! It is not a super thick chili but that is how I like it! This is a recipe I have made up because I love black beans and I love Chili. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground Turkey Breast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
    1 Medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp Chili powder
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp oregano
    2 cans Ro-tel, 1 original and 1 mild
    2 15 oz. cans Black Beans
    2 15 oz can tomato sauce


Directions

In a medium stock pot heat oilve oil.
Add chopped onions and cook until they are more tender.
Add ground turkey and salt. Cook until no longer pink.
Add chili powder, cayenne, ground cumin and oregano. Cook with meat for a couple minutes.
Add Ro-tel, canned beans (undrained) and tomato sauce.
Mix well and bring to boil.
Simmer covered for an hour.
Makes about 10 servings.
