Quick and easy Chicken Burgers. Quick and easy Chicken Burgers.
Number of Servings: 12


    35 oz. (1 killogram)ground chicken
    1 small onion diced fine
    1 red pepper diced fine
    1 green pepper diced fine
    1 clove garlic chopped fine
    1-2 tbsp oil
    ½ cup quinoa flakes.(for non gluten, use bread crumbs)
    S & p to taste


You can use ground Turkey instead. Also, you don't have to fry at the end. Makes great left over chicken sandwiches for the next day.


Pre heat oven at 350*
Sautee onion in oil on medium light for 5 mins Add red and green peppers and garlic for 3-5 mins till softened Pour mixture in the raw ground chicken.
Add salt and pepper and quinoa flakes (or bread crumbs). Mix well Form into burger patties and place on cookie sheet. (I use the “Slide” foil so it won’t stick!, costs a little more, but worth the clean-up time and mess!!)
Bake at 350 for 15 mins (turn after 7 mins) Take out of oven and fry in the same frying pan you used for sautéing the onions in, 1 minute each side.

Really yummy and moist and very tasty.
You could substitute the peppers for jalapeno peppers and cilantro or roasted red peppers or even mushrooms etc. Let YOUR taste buds do the talking (or rather cooking in this matter)

  • I have eaten these burgers as a gluten free recipe option 5 days a week for 9 weeks. I have over achieved my weight goal at a 20 pound loss in that time.
    I eat two as hunger requires between 11am - 1 pm with cherry tomatoes, romaine leaves and small cucumbers. Delicious cold.
