Ingredients

    1 cup of fat-free Milk
    2 cans of Chicken Broth
    1 tsp of minced Garlic
    1/2 med Onions
    3 med Potatoes
    15 Baby CarrotsFlour
    1/4 cup of flour
    3 oz of cubed Ham
    1/4 cup of grated parm cheese

Directions

Cook onion, ham, carrots, and garlic in a large sauce pan over medium heat for about 3 min. Add flour; cook and stir until smooth. Stir in broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add potatoes and and cook until tender, stirring occasionally aobut 10 mins. Add milk and parm cheese when potatoes are fork tender and cook for 2 mins (do not boil). Makes 1 cup servings.

    This was ok, I will leave out the carrots next time. This chowder had carrots in it which I had never heard of before and it gave the chowder an overwelming taste of carrots too. Not as good as the former review indicated. - 1/12/12
