    Wheat bran, crude, 1.5 cup
    Milk, 2%, 1 cup
    White Vinegar, 1 tbsp
    *Flour, white, 1 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 tsp
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Allspice, 0. tsp
    Ginger, ground, 0.5 tsp
    Nutmeg, ground, 0.5 tsp
    Sea salt, 0.5 tsp
    *Apple Sauce - Safeway, Unsweetened, 7 oz
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Honey, 2 tbsp
    Apples, fresh, 1 medium, grated
    Pumpkin Seeds, 0.5 cup


Preheat oven to 375.

Mix milk and vinegar, let sit for five minutes.

Mix milk and wheat bran, let sit for five minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg and salt.

Add apple sauce, egg, honey and vanilla extract to bran mixture. Add in dry ingredients; combine.

Stir in grated apple and pumpkin seeds.

Bake at 375 for twenty-five minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Serving Size: Twelve muffins.
