Ingredients

    4 Cups puffed rice cereal
    4 cups old fashioned oats
    1 cup sugar free chocolate syrup
    1/2 cup dry unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 Cup granulated sucralose sweetener (Splenda)
    1/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
    2 teaspoons vanilla or almond extract
    Nonstick cooking spray

Tips

I like using Walden Farms Calorie Free Chocolate Syrup to further reduce calories. I also recommend adding chocolate chips and/or cranberries if you don't mind the extra calories.


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees and spray large baking sheet with nonstick spray

2. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl

3. Combine chocolate syrup and extract in another bowl

4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until syrup is evenly distributed

5. Spread granola evenly over baking sheet. Bake for one hour, stirring every 10-15 minutes.

6. Let cool and store


Serving Size: Makes 9 servings, 1 cup per serving
