Delicous thick healthy soup pureed in food processor for a smooth consistency. Delicous thick healthy soup pureed in food processor for a smooth consistency.
Number of Servings: 6


    1 lb. organic orange lentils
    2 cups low sodium vegetable broth
    4 cups water
    1 large orange bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    6 cloves garlic
    12 grape tomatoes
    1 Tablespoon salt
    3 Tablespoon turmeric
    3 Tablespoons ground cumin seed
    1 Tablespoon ground peper


Can be stored for several days in the refrigerated in a covered container.


Wash lentils, drain. In pot sautee onions, garlic, and peppers until carmelized. Add rinsed lentils, broth, water, and tomatoes. Cook on stove top on simmer for 1 hour or until tender. Pour into a food processor a batch at a time until all the soup is pureed.

Serving Size: makes 6 oz. servings.
