    Spice Blend
    2.5 tsp sweet smoked paprika
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp dried thyme
    1 tsp sugar
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    fresh ground pepper
    3 cloves garlic pressed or grated

    1 block firm tofu sliced into 8 pieces
    2 tsp olive oil
    1 tsp soy sauce


mix together the spice blend on a plate or shallow baking dish

set your oven to broil and place the rack so it'll be about 6 inches away from the heat source

Poke the tofu pieces with a fork

Mix the oil and soy together and dip each piece of tofu in it

Then dredge the tofu in the spice mixture

Spray your baking sheet with non-stick spray and place the tofu slices on it

broiler for about 6 minutes per side, but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn

Serving Size: one serving is two pieces
