Introduction

I found this recipe on a local recipe exchange FB page and it looked so good. I found this recipe on a local recipe exchange FB page and it looked so good.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls
    1 onion minced or grated
1 stick blue bonnet light margerine
    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb shaved ham (I used Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh blackforest ham)
6 slices swiss cheese (I used great value sliced cheese)

Original recipe called for 3 tbsp Dijon mustard and 3 tsp poppy seeds but I didnt have either and we are not big mustard fans anyways.

Directions

Melt butter in small skillet and add onions. Combine worcestershire sauce and onions into butter (this is also when you would add mustard and poppy seeds). Simmer for several minutes.
Slice rolls as a group lenth wise and place bottoms in an aluminum foil lined 9X13 inch pan.
Spread 3/4 of onion mixture on rolls bottoms followed by the ham and cheese slices.
Top with the roll tops. Spread the remaining onion mixture over the top. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate til ready to bake. Bake covered with foil for 20 min at 350 degrees.
Once heated slice along roll lines.

This calorie count does not include the 90 cal per sweet roll...so the actual calorie count per serving is 182 calories. This makes a HUGE difference when someone is counting calories. Otherwise, the recipe is fine. - 3/4/13

I'm sorry I thought I had included those. Man I should have known that sounded too good to be true. I have added that to the recipe to show the correct calories now.
