    2 cans of chili ready tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    3 cups water
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1 cup salsa
    1 tsp chicken soup base
    1 cup quick cook barley
    1/2 tbl chili powder
    1/2 tb chopped garlic
    2 cans kidney beans drained
    1 can garbanzo beans drained
    1 can white beans drained
    10 oz cooked chopped boneless skinless chicken breast


In a dutch oven combine tomatoes, paste, water, pepper, onion, salsa, soup base, seasoning, and barley. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add in remaining ingredients and increase to high heat. Bring to a boil, cover adn reduce heat to low. Cook another 5-10 minutes until barley and vegetables are done.
