Introduction

Delicious and fast meat-free version of chicken parm. I love that this dish contains almost 1/2 your daily fiber requirement! Delicious and fast meat-free version of chicken parm. I love that this dish contains almost 1/2 your daily fiber requirement!

Ingredients

    4 Morningstar Farms Chik Patties
    3 cups of your favorite jarred spaghetti sauce
    I prefer Bionaturae whole wheat pasta products
    1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Directions

Cook the chicken in the oven as directed on the package. Avoid using the microwave, so the patties will be crispy.
Prepare the pasta according to package.
After patties are crisp, add 2 tablespoons of sauce to each one and about 1/8 cup of mozzarella. Return to oven for 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese and heat the sauce.
Pour remaining sauce over the prepared pasta and enjoy.

Serving Size: makes 4 servings of 1 chik pattie and 1 cup pasta with sauce
