Ingredients
-
1/2 pound ground turkey (93% fat free)
1 can (16 oz.) Bush's Chili Beans in mild sauce (pinto)
1/2 cup chopped onion
15 cherry tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 jalapeno pepper, de-seeded & veined, chopped
1 cup water
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper powder (or hot sauce)
Pam Original cooking spray, 1 second spray
Tips
You can use any form of fresh tomatoes, I used cherry tomatoes as my garden was abundant at the time. I also left out salt and pepper.. add these as you like.
Directions
Lightly brown the ground turkey in a skillet using Pam. Push to one side, and add onion, celery, jalapeno, and celery and cook these until soft. Drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, and continue cooking until they have softened some. Mix in remaining ingredients, and simmer 30 minutes, until thickened.
