    .5 cups unsweetened applesauce
    .25 Cup Granulated Sugar
    .5 Cup Honey
    3 Egg Whites
    1 Cup Jiff Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
    1.5 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
    .5 tsp Baking Powder
    .5 tsp Kosher Salt
    2/3 Cup Peanuts, dry-roasted
    1.5 Cups Strawberry Preserves


Preheat oven to 350. Grease and lightly flour 9x13 baking dish.
Using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream applesauce, sugar and honey until light and fluffy. Lower speed; add egg whites and peanut butter. Beat until combined.
In seperate bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. On low speed. slowly add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture. Mix until just combined. Set aside 1/2 cup of dough.
Using your fingertips, press remaining dough into an even layer in pan. Spread preserves over dough. Crumble reserved 1/2 cup of dough over preserves and then sprinkle with peanuts.
Bake until golden and bubbly, about 45 minutes. Cool on wire rack and cut into bars.

Serving Size: Makes 24 bars
