    3/4 cup oats
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1-1/2 cups buttermilk
    1/4 cup canola or olive oil
    1 egg
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup chopped almonds
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts


Makes 8 - 12 pancakes, depending on size (nutritional values are based on 8)

Grind the oats in a blender until like flour.
Combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder & salt in a medium bowl.
Add buttermilk, egg, oil & honey; stir well.
Fold in nuts.
Pour onto preheated, greased griddle and cook to desired doneness.
