    1 box yellow cake mix
    3 egg whites
    2/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    1/2 cup margarita mix (liquid)
    1/4 cup tequilla
    2 TBS tripple sec
    4 large limes (or enough to make 1/2 cup juice)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X13 cake pan with cooking spray.

Juice limes and grate peals.

Beat all ingredients together and pour into cake pan.

Bake for about 33-38 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Once completely cooled it can be frosted or topped with whipped topping or yogurt and sprinkled with a little of the grated lime peal if desired.

To make this non-alcoholic, substitute an equivalent amount of additional liquid margarita mix for the tequilla and tripple sec.

Makes 12 servings of 3X3 pieces.
