Ingredients

    1 kg. sirloin beef roast
    2 Tablespoons of flour
    1 Tablespoon seasoning salt
    1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
    1 Tablespoon olive oil
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
    1 can beef broth
    4 medium parsnips
    about 15 baby carrots
    6 baby red or white potatoes, cut in 1/2

Tips

Potatoes can be added to the slow cooker if you'd like rather than being cooked on the side


Directions

Flour & spice beef & sear in hot pan with 1 T. hot olive oil. In slow cooker, mix soup, broth and onon soup mix together with the mushrooms. Add the roast and ensure it is covered with the sauce. Cook on low for 8 hour. Slice and serve with potatoes and another vegetable, sauce is to be used as gravy. I served with green beans.
