Simple and tasty beef stroganoff. Simple and tasty beef stroganoff.
Number of Servings: 4


    1.5LB round steak
    2 TBS Olive Oil
    2 TBS Flour, white
    1 Medium Onions,
    1 Can Beef broth,
    1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 Cup Cream Cheese/Sour Cream
    2 C Rice
    Seasonings of choice


Substitute low fat/low sodium when available to make it even more healthy.


Cut meat into thin strips and chop onion. Season meat to taste, and dust in flower. In skillet brown meat in oil. Remove meat from pan. Add onion to skillet and cook until tender. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of flower in skillet and place steak back into pan with the onion. Add soup and broth. Cover and cook on low for about 30 minutes. Stir in cream cheese/sour cream the last few minutes.

Serving Size: .5 cup sauce & 3/4 C rice.
