These lighter alternative pancakes will surprise you. These lighter alternative pancakes will surprise you.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 Egg, fresh, 1 extra large
    *Lactaid Fat Free Milk, 1 cup
    *Flour, white, .5 cup
    *Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched, .5 cup
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Smart Balance, Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, 1 Tbsp, 2 serving
    *Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 2 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp

Tips

I make them one at a time in the pan.


Directions

Add milk and egg in large mixing bowl. Melt buttery spread in microwave (30 seconds) and add to milk and egg. Beat well. Mix dry ingredients into mixing bowl with egg, milk and butter mixture. Stir (can leave a little lumpy, it's OK). Add to heated frying pan with vegetable oil.

Serving Size: Makes 4 medium-sized pancakes
