    Chicken Broth, 2 cup (8 fl oz)(remove)
    Chili powder, 2 tsp(remove)
    Beans, navy, 2 cup(remove)
    *Cumin seed, 2 tsp(remove)
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped(remove)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped(remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 cup, chopped or sliced(remove)
    Cilantro, raw, 3 tbsp(remove)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp(remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, large (11"-12" long)(remove)
    Garlic, 3 clove(remove)


Heat a heavy dutch oven over medium high heat Add in olive oil. When hot add in the carrot, celery, and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently until vegetables are wilted and crisp tender.

Drain and rinse the beans. Stir in the beans, chicken stock, tomatoes and seasoning. Stir to combine. Add a few shakes of Tabasco sauce to taste. If desired, season with salt and pepper. Lower heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.

Place a serving of rice in a bowl, spoon soup over and garnish with sliced green onions.
