Ingredients

200g Stork or margarine
8 TBSP Maple syrup
150g Xylito/ Total sweet
450g Rolled oats
.5tsp Salt
60g Dried cranberries
Tips
You can substitute the marg for butter, Sugar for Xylitol, and you can swap the cranberries for another fruit or for nuts instead.
Directions
1. Grease 8in square, shallow tin.
2. Put marg and syrup in a bowl and melt it in the microwave.
3 . Put the xylitol, oats, cranberries and salt in a bowl and add the melted mixture to it. Mix thouroughly.
4. Turn the mixture into the prepared tin and cook in a moderate oven 175C for 33-35mins, until golden brown.
5. Leave to cool in the tin for 5 mins, cut the flapjacks into 12 portions and cool completely on a wire rack.
