Ingredients

    6 oz Top Sirlion Steak
    1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed, toasted and ground
    1/2 tsp salt (divided)
    1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
    2 plum tomatoes, diced
    1/2 Jalapeno Pepper, minced (optional)
    1 clove Garlic, minced
    2 tsp lime juice
    1 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped

Tips

I enjoy slicing the steak thinly, placing ontop of a salad and drizzle with salsa.

Directions

1. Sprinkle both sides of steak with chili powder and 1/4 tsp of salt. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook, turning once, 2-3 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired temperature. Transfer steak to plate, cover with foil and let rest while you make the salsa.

2. Add tomatoes, jalapeno, garlic, lime juice and the remaining 1/4 tsp salt to the pan and cook, stirring often, until the tomatoes soften, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in cilantro and any accumulated juices from the steak. Serve steak topped with salsa.
