    2 cup Boiling Water
    2 cup Oat Bran

    1/2 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
    1/2 cup Margarine, melted
    3 cup Granulated Sugar
    4 large Eggs
    1 L Buttermilk, lowfat
    1/3 cup Molasses, blackstrap

    4 cup Post Bran Flakes Cereal
    1 cup Raisins, packed
    1 cup Dates pitted, chopped
    5 cup Flour, white
    5 tsp Baking Soda,


add boiled water to bran, let stand overnight.
combine next 6 ingredients, add softened bran.
in a large bowl mix together remaining ingredients. stir in moist mixture into dry mixture very well.
measure by 1/4 cup per muffin. Bake @ 350F
