    4 slices wheat bread, cubed
    1 lb bacon, diced
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    2 cup milk
    1 tsp ground mustard
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper


Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9x2 pan; place cubed bread in baking dish.
In a small skillet, cook bacon; drain. Saute onion until soft in 2 tbsp bacon fat; drain. Sprinkle bacon and onion over bread, top with cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over bacon and cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until puffed and golden.
