    4 potatoes sliced thin
    2 slices American cheese
    5 oz milk (i used 8th continental soy)
    1 tsp butter


in a small glass dish layer 1/3 of potatoes
top with 1 slice of cheese 1/2 of butter
layer 1/2 of remaining potatoes
pour 1/2 of milk
top with cheese and butter
layer rest of potatoes
cover with foil
bake in preheated oven(350) for 30 min
