Introduction

Ingredients

1 bag of dried bean mix
1 lg onion
1 can of diced tomatoes 14.5oz
3 cloves of garlic
2 tsp chili powder
4 tsp poultry seasoning
1 box of frozen spinach
4tsp salt
Tips
Your serving size will change dependent upon how long you cook the beans. The recipe is actually calculated for 8 servings.
Directions
Soak beans overnight, drain beans and place in a pot with about 2 quarts of water. Bring beans to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 2 hours. Add onion, tomatoes, garlic, spinach and seasonings. Simmer for at least an additional 30 minutes or as long as you like for vegetables to cook and flavors to combine.
