Number of Servings: 6


    Ground beef, 500 grams
    Onions, raw, 0.5 cup, chopped
    Cumin seed, 0.5 tsp
    Coriander, dried, 0.5 tsp
    Basil, fresh chopped 1 tbsp
    Rosemary,fresh, chopped, 1 tbsp
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 3 tsp
    Ketchup, Heinz, 1 tbsp
    Crosse & Blackwell Chutney, 1 tbsp
    Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp
    Salt and pepper to taste


Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, cumin, rosemary, basil and coriander.
Add the chopped onions.
Mix the ketchup, worchestire sauce, chutney and balsamic vinegar in a seperate bowl.
Add to the meat mixture.
Mix through, lightly, with a fork.
Leave to marinade in fridge for 3 hours.
Remove from fridge and form 6 meat ball patties.
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes or till cooked through.
