    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1 c. butter
    1 lg. egg
    2 Tbsp milk


Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender till pea-sized crumbs form. Whisk egg and milk together and add to crumb mixture. Turn out onto floured surface. Knead until dough forms a ball. Divide in half. Roll each half to 1/8 inch thickness. Trim into 9x13 rectangle using baking pan as a guide. Cut into smaller rectangles, re-rolling trimmings to make 10 rectangles per half. Poke holes with fork in each piece. Brush half with egg wash & fill with about 1 Tbsp filling of choice. Top with remaining pieces crimping edges with a fork. Brush tops with egg wash. Chill 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 350* for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
