Ingredients

    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. 2% milk
    1 c. bread or cracker crumbs
    1 small can tuna fish (5 oz.)
    1 c. peas (drained)
    1 c. cooked egg noodles or spaghetti
    dash of salt and pepper

Directions

1. Mix butter, flour, and milk together.
2. Heat mixture over medium heat until thickened. Let cool.
3. Line the bottom of a 5x8 casserole dish with half of the crumbs.
4. Add the tuna fish, peas, and noodles.
5. Pour white sauce over all, then cover with remaining crumbs.
6. Season with salt and pepper, dot with butter and bake about one hour at 350 degrees.

    I thought i would surprise my husband and fix this casserole and i was totally disappointed because it tasted really blah, no taste, very dry. - 4/8/14
