    3/4 c. oats, coarsely ground
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1/4 c. canola oil
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 TBS brown sugar blend (Sucralose blend)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    3/4 c. dark chocolate chips


Use food processor to coarsely grind up oats. In medium bowl mix together oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
In mixer, beat butter until fluffy. Add oil and sugars then beat until well mixed. Add egg and vanilla. Keeping mixer on low speed, slowly add dry ingredients and mix until just blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Scoop by tablespoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
