    Cream Of Tartar, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    *Lemon Juice, 1 lemon yields (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)

Using an electric mixer fitted with whisk attachment, beat the egg whites and salt on low speed until foamy. Add the cream of tartar and beat on medium speed until soft peaks form. Beating constantly, add the sugar in a slow, steady stream. Add the vanilla and beat on high speed until the egg whites are very stiff.
