    1 cup dry quinoa
    2 cups water
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1/2 cup fresh blueberries
    1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
    1/2 cup fresh raspberries
    1/4 cup sliced almonds


Soak the quinoa in water for 5 minutes and then drain through a mesh sieve.
Add the quinoa and 2 cups of water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover with a tight fitting lid. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

While the quinoa is warm, stir in the brown sugar until it's dissolved and incorporated into the quinoa.

Once the quinoa is cool, mix in the berries and nuts. Keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Makes five (5) 1/2 cup servings.
