Ingredients

    dried california peppers, 1pkg
    1 whole chicken, bones and skin removed
    1 large can of white hominy
    10c water

    garnish (shredded cabbage, radish, onion, cilantro, hot sauce)

Directions

first take all the seeds out of the dried peppers and boil the skins until soft. Place the peppers and some of the cooking water in a blender and blend until smooth.
Cook chicken and remove skin and bones.
place pepper puree, chicken meat, hominy, and water in a large pot and bring to a boil, simmer for 2-3 hours garnish and serve with tortilla chips
