Introduction

Chicken breast poached in marinara sauce, then shredded. Chicken breast poached in marinara sauce, then shredded.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    28 oz can crushed tomatoes
    1/2 lg onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic
    1 skinless chicken breast, approx. 8 oz
    Seasonings to taste

Tips

If using dried herbs, add to the pan as soon as ou add the crushed tomatoes.


Directions

Sautee onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant and softened.

Add crushed tomatoes and chicken. Cook over medium low for approximately 30 minutes. Remove chicken, shred, and return to pan for another 10 minutes.

Right before removing pan from heat, add fresh herbs to taste.
