    2 cups white flour
    0.5 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 Tablespoon vegetable shortening (Crisco)
    0.5 - 1 cup water


If made thicker, this is a delicious alternative to Indian breads (naan).


Wisk together dry ingredients. Blend shortening in with fingers (or pastry cutter). Roll into dough balls. Roll out with rolling pin and grill in large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
