    16 oz package Trader Joe's smoked rope sausage
    12 cups of Swanson's beef broth
    16 oz frozen (roughly 2 cups) green beans
    1 cup raw chopped onions
    2 cups raw chopped carrots
    1 cup uncooked perealed barley (not quick cooking)
    3 to 5 whole bay leaves
    2 -4 tbsp low sodium Tamari - nutrion info was done for 4 tbsp.


You can brown the onions in olive oil before adding all othe ingredients, but the olive oil is not reflected in the nutrition ino.


Chop the raw veggies, cut up the sausage, put all into a large pan an cook on med. heat, sturing ocationally, until the barley is done.
