Introduction

Ingredients

1 tsp Sugar
1/4/cup Warm Water
1 pkg Active yeast
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Butter melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 large egg
2 cups flour
4 large apples (mcIntosh is good)
1/4 cup margerine, melted
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Stir first amont of sugar in warm water in large bowl. Sprinkle yeast over top. Let stand 10 minutes. Stir to disolve yeast.
Add next 4 ingredients.
Add first amount of flour and egg. Beat until smooth.
Add second amount of flour. Beat until smooth. Cover. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. Divide dough into 2 equal portions. Press each poriton into greased 9 X 9 inch pans, pressing up sides to make edges.
Topping: Lay apples slices in rows over top of dough.
Melt margerine in sauce pan. Stir in the remaining amount of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/2 over apples in each pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Each pan cuts into 18 generoud pieces.
