Ingredients

    3 cups cooked soy beans, drained
    2 tbsp sesame oil (dark)
    2 tbsp sesame seeds
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 tbsp chopped chives

Directions

Heat oil over medium heat in a broad pan.

Place beans in the oil, coating lightly and distributing evenly (don't crowd if you can help it). Cook without stirring until beans start to toast and pop.

Shake pan and cook for 2-3 minutes more, until the skins begin to toast and brown.

Coat with sesame seeds.

Remove from heat. Stir in salt and pepper, then carefully stir in the chives (try not to let them get wilty).

Serving Size: Makes 3 1-cup servings
