Number of Servings: 10


    Split Peas, 2.5 cup
    Roasted Garlic, 20 cloves
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    Onion powder, 1 tbsp
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Bay Leaf, 1 leaf
    Porcini Mushroom Boullion - 1 cube (11g)
    paprika, smoked, 3 tsp
    Chef's Cupboard All Natural Vegetable Stock, 4 cups
    Olive oil, 1 tbsp


In a medium sized pot (with lid) saute olive oil, chopped onions, carrots, and bay leaf for about 5 minutes or until onion are translucent.

Add roasted garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, boullion, paprika, and dried split peas. Mix together until all is well combined. Add Vegetable stock.

Bring to a boil then simmer for about an hour or until the peas are soft.

Add Salt & Pepper to taste. Sprinkle with a little more smoked paprika for extra smokiness. Remove bay leaf before serving.
