Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Large Ripe Avocado (approx 3/4 cup mashed)
    1 Small/Medium Tomato (approx 90g) seeded and finely chopped
    1 Large or 2 Small Scallion (approx 40g) finely chopped
    1/2 Cayenne or other Fresh Hot Pepper, seeds removed, minced
    2 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped
    1 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
    1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
    A Dash (or two) of Fresh Ground Black Pepper
    1/2 Tsp Kosher or other Salt

Tips

Hot pepper can be removed for a less spicy flavour (or more added if you like it hotter)

Serves 2 people. Eat/serve immediately after making as it most likely will turn brownish if stored in the fridge.


Directions

Cut Avocado in half, remove pits and scoop out flesh into a medium bowl - mash roughly with a fork.

Seed and Dice Tomato & finely chop scallion, hot pepper, and cilantro and add to Avocado mash.

Add Lemon, Lime, Salt & Pepper to bowl and mix well.

Serving Size: 2 Generous Half Cup Servings

    You named it very well. I left out the salt to decrease sodium, but followed the rest of ingredients. Wow, super good!! - 8/10/12
