    3 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
    3 Tbsp finely chopped onion
    .5 tsp salt
    .5 tsp sugar
    .5 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    5 large ripe heirloom tomatoes
    10 large fresh basil leaves, torn
    salt and pepper to taste


If you have too much vinaigrette simply add more sliced ripe tomatoes and torn basil leaves.


Combine Red Wine Vinegar, onion, salt and sugar. Whisk in olive oil. Set vinaigrette aside.

Slice tomatoes thinly, arrange on a platter. Top with fresh torn basil leaves. Salt and pepper to taste. Re-whisk vinaigrette and drizzle over tomatoes and basil, to taste.
