    3 cups fresh peaches
    Scant 1/4 white sugar
    1 yellow box cake mix
    1/2 of butter (may substitute with margarine if you wish)

    Whipped cream or ice cream optional. Not part of the calorie count of this recipe.


Cut peaches into bite size chunks and add to 9x9 pan. Add any juice from cutting the peaches and the scant 1/4 cup of sugar. Stir lightly. Dump on the dry yellow cake mix and DO NOT mix. Melt the butter and pour over top of everything in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Serving Size: Makes 12 squares. One square per serving.
