Number of Servings: 8


    Tomatoes, raw, 40 small whole (2-2/5" dia)
    2 medium raw Onions
    2 beef boullion cube
    1.5 tsp Granulated Sugar


Freezes well and can be use in anyway you use tomato soup in your favorite recipies with out all the things they add to canned.


Wash tomatoes and remove stems cut in half and put in large dutch oven. Peal and quarter onions add to pot. Add sugar and boullion. Simmer on medium heat about 2 hours, put in blender in small batches, blend about 3minutes, strain and repeat until all tomatoes are blended and strained. Makes about 8 cups. It is good as is but, you can add whatever you like, my husband likes a little 1/2 and 1/2, remember to change calories if you add things.

Serving Size: makes 8 1-cup servings
