Simple and easy hearty, but healthy chili. Simple and easy hearty, but healthy chili.
Number of Servings: 4

    1 cup onions chopped
    1/2 cup lean ground turkey
    1 1/2 cup cooked lentils
1 cup canned tomatoes with green chilies
    1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp of Cumin, red pepper flakes and coco powder

    Salt and Pepper to taste

Leave the ground turkey out and double the lentils for a vegetarian option. Chopped carrots, celery, and bell peppers make a great addition as well.

Brown the turkey and saute the onion in a pan on the stove. Once the turkey is cooked add spices and cook for 1 more minute.

Mix all ingredients in the slow cooker and heat on low for at least 2 hours.
