    Ground beef, extra lean, 400 grams
    Onions, raw, 101 grams, chopped
    Carrots, raw, 60 grams, grated
    Ketchup, Heinz, 3 tbsp
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tbsp
    Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp
    Crosse & Blackwell Chutney, 1 tbsp
    Cumin seed, 0.5 tsp
    Coriander seed, 0.5 tsp
    Chilli, 2 tsp
    Cayenne pepper, 1 tsp
    Tumuric, ground, 0.5 tsp
    cinnamon, 0.5 tsp
    ginger, 0.5 tsp
    garlic, 3 cloves, chopped
    Cardamom, pods, 5
    Beans, pinto, canned, 220 grams
    salt and pepper
    water, 1 cup


Total calories for 4 portions = 1 455


1) Add water, spices, onion, garlic, sauces and beef into a thick bottom pot.
2) Boil for 15 minutes.
3) Wash pinto beans to remove excess salt.
4) Add beans and grated carrots.
5) Cover pot with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes.
6) Add more water if it becomes to dry.
