Ingredients

    * 1/4 cup sugar
    * 1/4 cup brown sugar
    * 1/2 cup margarine -- softened
    * 1 egg
    * 1 cup all-purpose flour
    * 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    * 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    * 1/4 tsp. salt
    * 1 cup quick-cooking oats
    * 1/2 cup peanut butter
    * 1/2 cup applesauce
    * 1 medium banana -- mashed
    * 1/2 cup raisins

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugars, margarine and egg and beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and stir in. Stir in oats,peanut butter applesauce and banana. Add raisins at the end. Drop by teaspoonfuls unto parchment paper covered cookie sheets. Or use tablespoon size for breakfast cookies.
2. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until firm and golden.

Makes 3 dozen cookies. A serving is 2 cookies.
