Easy no-oven cornbread made in your slow cooker! Easy no-oven cornbread made in your slow cooker!
Number of Servings: 8


    Used directions on the bag of cornmeal. In addition to the ingredients above, add 2 tsp of baking powder and 1 tsp of baking soda. Mix dry ingredients together first, then add liquid egg (or a beaten whole egg), oil and milk.


Be sure to grease or spray the sides of the cooker with oil before adding ingredients.

Cook on high with the lid propped open for 3.5 hours. No preheating necessary.

Serving Size: Makes 8 cake-like pieces of cornbread.
