    12 oz Ground Pork Sausage (sub turkey if you wish)
    4 Eggs
    2.5 cups half and half
    1 Teaspoon dried Sage
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
    6 Slices of Potato Bread or other soft white bread with crusts removed
    2 cups grated extra sharp Cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish.\Cook the Sausage in a large skillet on med-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until browned. Transfer to plate with paper towel to drain.
Whisk together the eggs, half and half, sage, salt, and pepper in a med bowl.
Layer the Bread in the baking dish, top with the sausage, and then pour the egg mixture over the sausage. Top with cheese. Bake until firm in the middle or about 30 minutes.Let cool for 15 minutes
