    6 large Jalapeno Peppers
    1.5 oz mild italian sausage (cooked weight)
    3 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
    6 slices turkey bacon (cooked)


If you prefer a softer 'bite' to the pepper, blanch for 10 to 15 minutes before halving.


Pre-heat oven to 350 degF. Cut peppers in half length wise and remove seeds and ribs. Combine cooked sausage with softened cream cheese. 'Stuff' peppers with cream cheese mixture dividing evenly among the 12 halves. Cut turkey bacon in half. Press a half slice of bacon on the top of each filled pepper to make a 'lid'. Place peppers on a foil lined baking sheet. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 12 appetizers
