Introduction

Quick and healthy alternative. Can substitute salmon instead of tuna. Great to top with lemon juice! Quick and healthy alternative. Can substitute salmon instead of tuna. Great to top with lemon juice!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 small can of tuna packed in water
    1/2C of oats
    1/4C of plain bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/3C of minced onion

    Seasoning to taste:
    1T Italian seasoning
    1T Garlic powder
    Salt and pepper
    Onion powder (optional)

Tips

Top with fresh lemon juice and green onion and serve.


Directions

Mix all ingredients, including tuna water. After combined well, divide into 6 patties.

Warm EVOO in pan (optional). Shape cakes into ovals to fit into round pan easlier. Place 3 cakes in a pan and saute for a few minutes on each side (or until browned).
