This is a Czech/Bohemian soup called Kulajda. This is a Czech/Bohemian soup called Kulajda.
Number of Servings: 4


    1L water, 5 dollops of sour cream, 300g potatoes, 200g fresh mushrooms, 1 small onion, 1 tbs butter, salt, 1 tsp caraway seeds, a bay leaf, a sprig of fresh dill and 2 eggs


add some flour to thicken the soup if you want...and vingegar to make it more sour.


Dice the potatoes and boil them with the salt, caraway seeds and chopped onion. After about 10 minutes add the chopped mushrooms. After another 5 minutes add the dlour, sour cream, bay leaf and dill. Leave to simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Finall add the two eggs to the soup and serve.

Serving Size: 4 bowls as a starter
